4th Annual Goblet Grab

February 24, 2010

NBCC GOBLET GRAB 2010

The New Brunswick Crafts Council presents the 4th Annual Goblet Grab on March 26th from 7-9 pm at Gallery Connexion in Fredericton. Tickets are $50 each and include a hand-made goblet filled once with wine. If you enjoy a glass of wine, something exquisite to drink from, and the opportunity to participate in a raffle of fine craft, this is the event for you!

Fine craft artists of the New Brunswick Crafts Council have generously donated handcrafted goblets and wine drinking vessels. For some craftspeople, making a wine goblet is just part of the trade. For others, who work in mediums that don’t typically materialize into drinking containers, the challenge has been greater. A little ingenuity, innovation and creativity required for outstanding results. Some goblets are whimsical, some are striking, some are humorous, and some are simply lovely. All are fantastic!

Starting on March 8th a sampling of goblets will be displayed in the windows of Bejewel, Botinicals, and The Blue Door Restaurant leading up to the event, so make sure you stop by these locations to see which goblets you want to grab! A selection of the goblets can also be previewed on our website, www.nbcraftscouncil.ca.

Proceeds from the Goblet Grab support the efforts and programming of the New Brunswick Crafts Council. Please join us, and our sponsors 6 Color Copy, Ginger Design, Pump House Brewery, Shanie Stozek Pottery, and CSJEvents, in celebration of fine craft and our arts community in Fredericton. Don’t miss out on this opportunity for a fun evening of good food, good people, and your very own piece of one of a kind, hand-made New Brunswick fine craft!

Tickets are limited, so buy early!
